Yes, the JR Products RV Cabinet Door Strut # 37270555 can work on a 2005 Ford E-450 Super Duty RV, but the chassis itself isn't what determines the fit. These struts are a universal replacement for overhead RV cabinet doors, so what really matters is that your existing strut is similar in size and uses the same mounting style. The # 37270555 measures 6-1/4 inches when open and 5-1/2 inches when closed, and it includes the mounting hardware. I am sorry I cannot give you a more direct answer. I attached an image of one installed.
If you're replacing an existing cabinet strut, I recommend comparing those measurements and the mounting points to what you currently have. As long as they match, the # 37270555 should be a good replacement.

Worked perfect with my setup. These are universal, not rv specific. They'll work with anything. Just measure amount of throw needed to open and close cabniet door. You mount struts by screwing into wood. Avoid using same holes as previous struts or use a slightly latger screw to help ensure greatest holding power.

I bought these for all my overhead cabinets in a 2021 Alpine 5th wheel. Like Skot T mentions...they are universal vs RV specific. They are the perfect solution.

This was an exact fit for me. I have a 2003 Tiffin Allegro 32BA. I think if everything measures the same, they should work.
