Weight Distribution Hitch for 2022 Ford F-150 Towing 2026 Forest River Wildwood 266BHLE

Question:

I am towing a 2026 FR Wildwood 266 BHLE with F150. The trailer recently weighed at CAT scale is 5300lbs with 640 lb tongue weight. I currently a a Curt tru trac 2p 1000/10000 hitch and I am looking to upgrade to a 4 point sway control hitch. I am leaning toward equalizer 4p 1000/10000. Would this be a good fit?

It also leaves room for anything in the back of your truck, or if you fully load your trailer and get closer to the 7,550 lb GVWR. Equal-i-zer is widely considered the best, and it will be a big step up from the Curt you have now.
