Question:
Im adding a hitch and wiring harness to my car. 2015 subaru Outback, the wiring harnesses that you sell is a 4 pin. My trailer has a round wiring harness with 6 pins in a circle around a central pin. I took a picture but this email wont let me add it. Trying to figure out which adapter I need or if I should do a different wiring kit for my car?

Hey Josh, the type of trailer wiring you are looking for is a 7-way for your 2015 Subaru Outback Wagon which we can help with but we don't have a complete 7-way custom fit for your vehicle since it's a lighter duty vehicle. Instead you would need to first start with a 4-way like the custom fit Curt # C56040 and then you would need to convert that to a 7-way to match your trailer.
If your trailer doesn't' have brakes all you'd need is the part # TS56QR and you'd be set. It plugs into 4-way and is ready to go.
If your trailer does have brakes you'd instead need the part # ETBC7 with a brake controller like the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty # RED52VR which works really well and only puts a small knob on the dash of the vehicle.
