Question:
I have a 2025 Keystone Hideout Sport 261BH travel trailer. It has Lippert Axles on it. I am looking at changing the suspension to upgrade it. My question is this, based on your recommendation, would you go with the Lippert Road Armour or the Morryde 4000.

Hi Lacy,
If it were my trailer, I'd go with the Lippert Road Armor Equalizer Kit, part # LC53CK, paired with the Lippert AP Wet Bolt and Shackle Kit, part # LC52SV. I really think that's the sweet spot for your 2025 Keystone Hideout Sport 261BH. It's a noticeable upgrade over the factory suspension without going beyond what your trailer actually needs. I would take a quick measurement of your current equalizers and compare those dimensions to the Road Armor just to make sure everything lines up. Since your trailer has Lippert axles, I'm confident the Road Armor is going to be a very common replacement and I don't expect you to run into any issues, but it's always worth spending a couple of minutes to double check.
The Road Armor does a great job soaking up those sharp bumps and the back and forth chucking you feel on rough highways or concrete roads. It helps the trailer feel more settled behind your truck, and you'll likely notice that things inside the camper don't get bounced around as much either.
The MORryde SRE4000 is a really nice system too, but honestly, I think it's more suspension than your Hideout needs. It's designed with heavier trailers in mind and requires more suspension travel and clearance than a trailer like yours typically has. It's kind of like putting heavy duty truck shocks on a half ton pickup. They're great parts, just not the best match for the job.
One thing I would absolutely do while you're in there is install the Lippert AP Wet Bolt and Shackle Kit. The factory plastic bushings are usually one of the first suspension components to wear out, and upgrading to greaseable wet bolts and bronze bushings will help everything last longer and stay tighter over the miles. It's one of those upgrades that's well worth doing while everything is apart.
I think you'll be really happy with the Road Armor setup. It gives you a smoother, quieter ride without overcomplicating the suspension, and that's exactly what I'd want on a Hideout that's headed out for weekends and family trips.
By the way, what do you usually have packed in your 261BH that you'd love to keep from getting bounced around on the road?
