Does Fogatti InstaCool With Heat Pump Cool As Well As The Standard Model

Question:

Do I give up any cooling performance by buying the Fogatti model with the heat pump instead of the standard air conditioner?

Hey Laura! No, you don't. Both the standard InstaCool and the InstaCool with the heat pump provide the same 18,000 Btu cooling capacity. The heat pump models simply add 16,000 Btu of electric heating for cooler spring and fall weather. We have the following available based on color and whether you'd like a heat pump:

-Fogatti InstaCool RV AC System - 18K Btu - Ducted or Non-Ducted - White # FG32VR

-Fogatti InstaCool RV AC System - 18K Btu - Ducted or Non-Ducted - Black # FG25VR

-Fogatti InstaCool RV AC w/ Heat Pump - 18K Btu - Ducted/Non-Ducted - White # FG85VR

-Fogatti InstaCool RV AC w/ Heat Pump - 18K Btu - Ducted/Non-Ducted - Black # FG72VR

If you don't expect to camp in cooler weather, I'd save a little money and stick with one of the standard AC systems. If you do camp during the spring and fall, the heat pump models are worth considering. All of these are complete systems so you will have everything you need for installation.

What kind of RV or trailer are you installing it on?
