Hi Jesse,

Sorry you're having issues with your camera!

There are a few things we can check to see what may be causing it. First thing that comes to mind is that on newer Chevy and GM to vehicles with PWM (pulse width modification) controlled lighting, the camera may get pulsing voltage instead of a constant steady 12Vs. If the camera is wired to running lights, you can use a multimeter to see if the camera is getting 12V while the vehicle is running. If the camera is getting inconsistent voltage, you can use the Voyager 12V PWM Filter for Backup Cameras part # VGR64VR to splice into the camera system's wiring to prevent camera dropouts.

If the camera is getting a consistent 12V, the next thing to check is that the antenna is fully tightened and in a straight up position. If the trailer is really long or has a lot of metal, then relocating or extending the antenna can help with reception. Any large metal objects, distance between the camera and monitor, or electrical interference can cause the signal to drop out. Any obstructions should be reduced or moved if possible, to ensure a clear signal path.

What trailer do you have your Furrion back up camera system part # FOS43TASF on?
