I see you placed an order already, but I still wanted to get you an answer to your question.

So short answer, yes, you can use the Curt TruTrack 2P Weight Distribution System # C69JR and Equal-i-zer Pole-Tongue Adapter # EQ95-01-5950 together and it will solve the issues of using a weight distribution system with a straight tongue trailer.

That said, the Curt TruTrack 2P # C69JR has a tongue weight rating of 800 pounds to 1,000 pounds and may be too heavy duty for a 7,500 pound load. With weight distribution systems, you want your loaded tongue weight to fall as close to the middle of the systems capacities as possible. If you tongue weight is too much higher than that mid point, the system won't really do anything. If your tongue weight is lower than what the system is rated to, it will lift the front of the trailer up too much and can actually make things worse when you are towing. So if you want to continue with the system you ordered, you will want to make sure you load your trailer somewhat front heavy.

If you end up finding it to be too much for your trailer, the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control - Round - 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 lbs TW # FA94-00-1000 would have been the one I recommended. This has a tongue weight range of 600 pounds to 1,000 pounds and matches your trailer better than the Curt. But again, the Curt may still work for you.
