I have the Kuat Pivot V3 and the safety pin sits really close to my oversized spare tire. Will this low-profile pin give me some extra clearance?

Hey Eric! Yes, the Replacement Kuat Safety Pin and Cotter # KU67HR has a low-profile design specifically to provide additional clearance around things like oversized spare tires and tailgates. It works with either version of the Kuat Pivot V3:
-Kuat Pivot V3 Swing Away Hitch Extender - Driver Side # KU98CR
-Kuat Pivot V3 Swing Away Hitch Extender - Passenger Side # KU38CR
I'd definitely use the # KU67HR if your current pin is getting a little too close. As you can see in the picture, the lower profile lets the pin tuck underneath the tire where the extra clearance really matters.
