Will this work if my ball mount already fits pretty tight?

Hey Matt! Yes, even a ball mount that feels tight usually has a little movement inside the receiver, especially when you're towing your trailer. The # e55YV will remove that remaining play, which will reduce hitch noise and make the connection feel more solid.
