Question:
I have a homemade stage i haul. Been hauling it for many years. But tired of it being fishy down the road and want to get more weight on the front of my e350. Ive been looking at weight distribution hitches i found some i liked but i dont know my tongue weight. i know the tandem axles on the stage have 6160 pounds on them. is there an easy way to figure. out the tongue weight?

Hey Travis! Probably the easiest thing to do is pick up a scale like the BTBRV # BTBRV76FR. You can use this to measure your tongue weight, and also make sure things are properly balanced. You can also take it to a commercial scale, or try the bathroom scale method. I attached a help article further down on this page which covers all three methods.
Once you know your tongue weight you can determine which weight distribution hitch is best for your setup. I recommend Equal-i-zer since it is a reliable and proven brand. They're widely considered the best in the business. You can choose from the following based on tongue weight:
-Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control # EQ37040ET (tongue weight up to 400 lbs)
-Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control # EQ37060ET (TW range 200 - 600 lbs)
-Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control # EQ37100ET (600 lbs - 1,000 lbs)
-Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control # EQ37120ET (800 lbs - 1,200 lbs)
What do you use the stage for?
