Question:
Hello, I am trying to cross over brake drums/hubs for my boat trailer which has UFP 10 x 2-1/4 drums. The spindle bearing shaft diameter are inner 1.375 and outer 1.06. It is a 5 lug wheel and I think the axle rating is 3,500 lb. I know that the AKEBRK35R brake assembly works fine on the original drums. Thank you.

Happy to help, Tony!
Thanks for providing the bearing dimensions, they made it easy to narrow this down.
Based on your measurements, the boat trailer has:
Inner bearing: L68149 - 1.378"/1.375"
Outer bearing: L44649 - 1.063"/1.06"
10" x 2-1/4" brake drum
5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern
3,500-lb axle
For the replacement, I'd recommend either the Dexter hub and drum # 84546UC3 or the etrailer hub and drum # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K. Both include the hub/drum, pre-installed races, bearings, grease seal, grease cap, lug nuts, cotter pin, and they'll work with your # AKEBRK-35R brake assemblies.
The only thing I'd verify before you order is the grease seal. Most 3,500 lb axles with the L68149/L44649 bearing combination use a 1.719" inner diameter grease seal, but some older UFP axles used a different size.
Are those the original hubs or have they been replaced before?
