Published 07/08/2026

Question:

I have a 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500 Duramax, LTZ crew cab, short bed, 4WD - new body style with a factory hitch and cab length running boards. What are the part numbers for the front and rear camper tie downs that fit my truck? Thanks.

Hi Jerry,

For your 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500 New Body with a factory hitch and cab length running boards, you'll need the TorkLift Tie Downs part # TL84PR that are custom fit for the Silverado New Body style. This is a kit of both the front and rear tie downs that will mount directly to your frame's existing holes. The arms are removable, so when the tie downs aren't in use, they will be almost invisible under the truck. Each tie down arm has two pin holes so you can adjust how far it can extend for proper clearance from the fender or sidewalls. The two anchor holes for the turnbuckles will give you options to get the best angle for turnbuckle to keep you camper locked down. If you also need turnbuckles, the TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles part # TLS9526-2-LK are some of the best out there. The FastGun turnbuckles have a quick-release lever and spring-loaded design that make it fast and easy to secure the camper to your truck. These turnbuckles are also lockable so you can secure the handles in place and keep your set up secure.

Are you using air bags or another suspension upgrade to help with the weight of the slide in camper?
