Interior Depth of Lipper SolidStep when Folded Up

How much room do you need inside? I have a 2019 grand design 303rls and the steps to the upper deck extend in front of door way some

Thanks for your question!
When the Lippert SolidStep RV Steps for 25" to 28-7/8" Wide Doorways - 4 Steps # LC791574 are folded and stored inside the doorway, they require approximately 10.5 inches of depth clearance. This measurement is taken from the locking bar that rests against the door frame when the steps are stowed to the top of the side frame rail. I've included a photo below that illustrates where this measurement is taken.
The # LC791574 is designed for RV entry doors with a width between 25" and 28-7/8" and an entry height between 35" and 44".
If your doorway width or entry height falls outside those ranges, just let me know your measurements and I'd be happy to help you find the correct steps for your 5th wheel.

The steps were great better than the first ones I had saw they fit and just that little tighter on the spot
