Availability of Mounting Bracket for Opti-Brite 12V/24V LED Dome Light

Question:
Is there a bracket available for light ILL28CMB? I need to mount this overhead in the cargo box of a straight truck. Ive seen a bracket that has a lip that goes between the roof bows and the fiberglass top. This bracket also has a cutout that the ILL28CMB will fit into. The light fastens to the bracket. Ive seen a bracket light this but cant locate one for sale. I need 2 of these lights with the brackets. Photo attached.

Hey Brent! The Opti-Brite # ILL28CMB is designed to mount using its integrated flange. A separate overhead mounting bracket like the one in your picture is not something that is available from us or Optronics.
If your truck originally used that style of mounting plate, it was most likely supplied by the box manufacturer or fabricated locally. You may want to check with the truck body manufacturer to see if they offer a replacement, or have a local fabrication shop duplicate the bracket if needed.

The LED dome lights with motion sensor work perfectly. I made my own aluminum brackets. I don’t believe there were brackets available a year and a half ago

I mounted them in the roof cut a hole in the ceiling so it is flush with the ceiling. Mounted them in a utility reefer trailer
