Replacement Hex Tool for a Fastway Adjustable Ball Mount

Hi I bought a Fastway DT-STBM6800 8 Adjustable Solid-Tow Double Ball Hitch from you a few years ago and lost the tool that adjusts the hitch height… Do you have those?

Hi! Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, we no longer carry the replacement adjustment tool for your Fastway DT DTSTBM6625 adjustable ball mount. The good news is that you don't necessarily need the original tool. It uses a 5/16 inch security hex key, sometimes called a tamper resistant or hollow tip Allen wrench. A standard 5/16 inch Allen wrench won't fit because the bolt has a security pin in the center.

You should be able to find a 5/16 inch security hex key or a tamper resistant hex key set at most local hardware stores or online tool retailers. Once you have that, it'll work just like the original tool for adjusting the hitch height.

I'm sorry we aren't able to offer the replacement tool anymore, but thankfully it's a common security tool that's usually easy to find.
