Question:

We have 2021 dodge promaster van converted to a 2023 Thor scope 18a. It doesn’t come with a spare tire but has a bike rack on passenger side rear door instead. Do you have a carrier to fit ours.

Hey Connie, thanks for reaching out. My first thought here was to use a hitch mounted spare tire carrier like part # e98ZR, but in all likelihood, the bike rack on your rear door would interfere with the tire carrier, so that probably isn't the best option. You MIGHT be able to do a carrier mounted on the driver-side door like part # SU29AR, but again clearance would be really tight with the bike rack and bikes on there, so I don't really see that working.

Usually on these ProMaster vans, the spare is stored on the rear door, or on the hitch, so with those options off the table, your best bet will probably be to just store the spare inside the van if you have space. Like under the bed or in a storage compartment.

That or you could look in to an under mounted tire carrier. Some aftermarket underbody spare tire carriers are available for the ProMaster, but clearance can be limited on camper conversions due to tanks, plumbing, or other equipment installed by Thor. So, if you go that route you'll want to make absolutely sure you have space without any obstructions.
