Question:
I understand this cad dolly has brake/blinker lights but would you know if a vehicle would need additional brake/blinker lights while being towed on this car dolly? Thank you.

Good question Len, thanks for asking!
The Demco Kar Kaddy X # DM9713093 has DOT compliant brake lights, tail lights, turn signals, marker lights and a license plate light, so additional brake/turn lights on the towed vehicle are generally not required.
That said, lighting requirements can vary by state or province, so we recommend checking the regulations for the areas where you'll be traveling just to make sure. Some owners also choose to add magnetic tow light like # DM36MV to the vehicle for additional lights, even when they aren't legally required.
What vehicle are you using with the Kar Kaddy?

I've had zero problems just using the regular lights on the wheel wells of the dolly. No police have ever complained and I've seen plenty of them. I've been in 19 states since I bought this a year ago.

The taillights, turn signals are bright and easily seen. I always function test them by watching the reflection through the motorhome mirrors and can see their reflection on the side of my car and off the ground behind the trailer. My trailer does not have a license plate mount or light due to the trailer not requiring a plate. I'm very pleased with the quality and function of the trailer, the only caution I have to offer is that the trailer is delivered in a large wooden crate and difficult to unload and move. Luckly, I have a tractor with forks.
