Hey Mandy, I can help you out with that.

When you say tow package, I assume you mean a trailer hitch and the necessary wiring to go with it so that you can safely pull a trailer with the 2020 Toyota Highlander.

For the hitch, I'd go with the trusty matte black etrailer 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # e75ZR which does a good job of blending in and looking factory. Keep in mind, this along with the other receivers for this vehicle will fit Highlanders with an 18" or smaller spare tire under the vehicle; larger spare tires (over 18") will not be able to be stored under the vehicle.

For the wiring setup, I'd go with the custom-fit # C76CR which is plug and play, very simple to install and use! This will give you a 4 way flat which is good for trailer light circuits.

If you happen to be needing to tow a bigger trailer that has a 7 way round connection and trailer brakes, you'd then also need to install the add-on kit # ETBC7 which converts that 4 way connection to a 7 way round. If the trailer has electric brakes then you'd also need a brake controller such as Curt TriFlex # C87PQ.

For a ball mount kit, I like our etrailer Towing Kit w/ 2" Ball Mount and Pre-Torqued 2-5/16" Ball - 2" drop # e83ZV. It comes with the 2" ball pre-installed and ready to go. If you happen to need a different size ball, let me know!
