Hi i am wondering if ur curt towhitch fits jeep renegade and do they just bolt on without removing bumper

It sure does Charles. The Curt Hitch item # C12142 does indeed fit your 2019 Jeep Renegade. It bolts on to your frame from underneath so you will not have to remove the rear bumper to get this hitch installed.

I linked an installation video below along with the instructions so you can see how to get this hitch set up.

I do want to point out that the Curt Hitch item # C12142 you were looking at, is only a class II hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver. This hitch has a 2,000 lbs towing capacity and a 200 lbs maximum tongue weight that matches your Renegade's capabilities. However, the choices for 1-1/4" accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers are going to be limited and like the hitch more expensive.

I recommend installing our etrailer Hitch item # e37AR on your Jeep. It has an identical installation method that does not require removing the bumper and will place the receiver and crosstube in the same position as the Curt item # C12142. This hitch however has a 2" receiver, which opens the door to a wider option of accessories. It won't increase your Jeep's capacity but it will save you some money.

Hi the hitch was only being used to tow a trailer as i have dirtbikes so was only being used for that nothing else

@CharlesF Right on! You're also going to want the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # C56274. This is custom fit and plugs in behind your Jeep's rear tail lights. It'll provide you with a 4-way connector that will control your trailer's lighting functions.
