Will Hullavator 897XT Fit Malone AirFlow2 Crossbars

Question:

I have a 2022 Honda Passport Elite with factory roof rails. I bought a used Hullivator 897XT model. Im wondering if the Malone Airflow2 Roof Rack-Aero Crossbars-Raised Side Rails-Aluminum 65long Black for $260.95 would work for my vehicle and Hullivator system to carry our 2 kaykaks?

Hey Kim! The Malone AirFlow2 # MAL24AR will work on your Passport and give you the necessary overhang for the Hullavator. However, since you purchased the Hullavator 897XT used, compatibility will depend on the mounting hardware that came with it.

The AirFlow2 bars use a T-slot channel, so you'll need the Hullavator's corresponding mounting hardware. If that hardware wasn't included, you'll need to obtain Thule kit 7521383001 to mount the Hullavator to the Malone crossbars. We no longer have this kit, but you may be able to get it directly from Thule. If they no longer have it, your best bet is a site like eBay or Facebook Marketplace.

@KimC you're welcome! Your 12' L.L.Bean Pungo kayaks will work great with the Hullavator setup once you've confirmed all of the mounting hardware is present.

We have used this equipment with success on a 2015 Honda Pilot. Learned the hard way that we must take the equipment off before driving the car through a car wash :)
