I have a Shurflo 2088-422-144. In a 2008 Newmar Kountry star motor home water system. What would you recommend to replace it with. Thanks

Welcome back Jim! To replace your Shurflo 2088-422-144 pump, I recommend the HydroMax RV Fresh Water Pump item # P25201. This self-priming pump creates smooth, consistent flow in your RV's fresh water system. The pump delivers 3 gallons per minute at 55 psi and includes a built-in strainer and check valve to prevent backflow. It has 1/2" diameter hose fittings at the inlet and outlet.
The HydroMax item # P25201 operates off of 12v and has a simple 2-wire connection. It has a maximum power draw of 10 amps but must be installed with a 15 amp fuse.

I replaced the original 1999 Winebago Minnie Shurflo 2088-422-144 waterpump with the recommended Hydromax p25201.Easy changeout,except for manuerving under the bed.It has a slightly higher water pressure. I blew out the outside water hose connector (center portion).A trip to Lowe's & fashioned a brass "plug" has worked well.No leaks in water lines.In use for 1 1/2 years....like it!

I added the pump to my 2013 Keystone Raptor. A bit skeptical at first because this new pump has a bit higher pressure and gpm then the stock, however right away I I was happily surprised all my stock system worked perfectly. I’ve had on for over a year and half with zero issues.
