Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today, we're taking a look at the Cummins Onan EC AGS+ Automatic Generator Start System for diesel RVs. So folks, if you rely on that generator while you're camping, this system here can take away some of the need to consistently monitor when that generator needs to be run or not. So for example, if your house batteries drop below, say, a set voltage, this system could automatically start that generator, provide your power. Or if the temperature inside gets too high, you can simply start the generator, so your air conditioner can run.
So that temperature feature itself with this temperature sensor is probably gonna be especially useful if you travel with pets, right So our four-legged friends, instead of relying on us to be there to start the generator, it can automatically respond when that temperature reaches a preset temperature, pop on, help keep our friends cool and safe. You also have Bluetooth connectivity with the Cummins Onan app, that's a free app from your phone, you can manually start or stop the generator, and monitor things like battery voltage, temperature sensor, those kind of things, temperature sensor monitor in one area. It can support the three temperature zones with additional sensors sold separately, and of course, you have all your plugs, and everything needed here. You do get the included wireless temperature sensor for one area, and again, this can support up to three total temperature zones with additional sensors sold separately. Now you can also program this for, let's say, quiet hours.
So that automatic start function, you can have it shut down during certain hours, that way it doesn't fire up whenever the camp rule grounds are quiet to stay off and those kind of things. There's also built in safety and diagnostic features, as well, including fault codes, and you can use those to help troubleshoot anything. Now this version is designed and is compatible with diesel RV generator systems, except the 3.2 QD, again, it does not work with the 3.2 QD, and if you have lithium house batteries, you can still use the system, but just know that that low battery voltage automatic start feature is not compatible with a lithium battery system.
