Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the replacement 90-degree exhaust pipe for the Camco Gen-Turi RV generator exhaust system, 24 inches long. Now, this is gonna be a direct replacement part. It's gonna replace the 90-degree EMT discharge pipe for your Gen-Turi RV generator exhaust system. And that part number for that system is CAM44461. Now, this upright here measures about six inches tall from bottom to the top of the pipe, and the overall length or the height, however you wanna call it, from this end all the way down here to this end is 24 inches long.

It's made of nice durable metal here. It's gonna last you a long time. And again, a direct replacement part, it's gonna do your needs if you need one. Well, thank you for taking a look at this with me today. This is Steven with etrailer.com.

Item is exactly what I needed. Used it to replace the 90° pipe on my Gen-Turi. I figured the existing pipe was/is to short. It should've gone further up inside the fiber tube. Now, I need to find some stainless rivets to finish the upgrade. The hose clamps will do for now. I was also able to eliminate the adapter that came with the Gen-Turi. etrailer's shipping policies could use some work. My order sat untouched for 3 day, because I chose the least expensive shipping option. So, if you're in a hurry, pony up the dough or go elsewhere.

As described in my original review. It worked out perfectly. I found the correct rivets and it looks like it did when it came from Gen-Turi. Im surprised Gen-Turi hasnt looked at my upgrade. The metal exhaust shouldve been flush or a 14 up inside the fiber tube.

I bought the Camco Gen-Turi Rv exhaust system and needed to extend it a bit. These pipes do no fit the system properly. Very disappointed.

For your generator exhaust, the Camco Gen-Turi Replacement 30" EMT 90-Degree Discharge Pipe # CAM44812 is designed to be used with the Camco Gen-Turi RV Generator Exhaust System # CAM44461. With that being said, we have not tested the # CAM44812 for full functionality without the # CAM44461. In order to have a smooth-flowing system, I recommend using both of these components. The inner diameter of the expanded ends of the part # CAM44812 is 1.53 inches and the outer diameter of the non expanded end is 1.51 inches. So basically this setup is designed to either slip into a 1-1/2 inch pipe or slip over a 1-1/2 inch pipe.

Can the Camco Replacement 90 Degree Exhaust Pipe Be Used to Replace the Pipe on a Generac 4709
Possibly, but you'd have to measure your current exhaust pipe first. The Replacement 90-Degree Exhaust Pipe for Camco Gen-Turi RV Generator Exhaust System # CAM44812 has the same diameter aside from the shorter end where it gets larger to accept a 1-1/2" diameter pipe which I've shown in the attached diagram. So if your Generac model 4709 Quietpac 40G uses up to 1 1/2" piping you'll be good to use this as a replacement.

The Camco Gen-Turi Replacement 30" EMT 90-Degree Discharge Pipe # CAM44812 has the same diameter aside from the shorter end where it gets larger to accept a 1-1/2" diameter pipe. You can to cut the longer end so that it is shorter and accommodates your application. Attached is a picture showing the inner diameter of either side of the pipe so you can get an idea of which end goes where.
