Replacement For Fulton Trailer Jack On Boat Trailer

Updated 05/31/2026 | Published 05/26/2026

Question:

I was wondering if you could help me out with my trailer jack? My older one broke and Fulton doesn’t sell my style of jack anymore. I have attached some pictures to show you. I was looking at a Fulton adapter plate and was going to order the Fulton F2 jack but that style is no longer available either.

Hey Miles! The Fulton adapter plate would normally be a good solution for this situation. However, Fulton is currently up for sale following the First Brands bankruptcy so most of their jacks and parts aren't around. At this point, we don't know if or when their parts will return.

I can't tell from the photos exactly how much space is available between the trailer tongue and the reinforcement welded to the opposite side of the tongue. If there is enough clearance, you may be able to install a bolt-on jack such as the Dutton-Lainson # DL67MR and avoid cutting off the existing mount and welding on a new bracket.

If you can provide the width of the trailer tongue and the amount of space available in that gap, I'd be happy to take a closer look. The # DL67MR is designed to fit frames up to 3" wide x 5" tall, so those measurements will help determine if it will fit your trailer.

What kind of boat do you have there?
