Does Smart LED Light Strip Require White Control Box To Change Colors With Remote

Question:

this will be used on a fifth wheel travel trailer. if this is connected directly to 12 volt, so it bypassed the white box with 3 pigtails, will it still be able to change colors with the remote ? Or does it have to be connected to the white box with 3 pig tails to give different colors.

Hey Barry! The white box on the Smart LED Light Strip # DIA66QR is the controller that allows you to change colors and modes. It also has the IR sensor so the remote would not function without it. Unless you want it to stay in a single mode as a single color, you need to install it with the LED strip.

Where are you installing the light strip?
