How to wire brake light on cap useing plugin 7 pole

Expert Reply:
The easiest way to use your vehicle's 7-way trailer connector to power up the third brake light on your truck cap is to first locate the right and left turn signal wires behind your 7-way.
Then simply tap into those and install the Pacer Performance 3rd Brake Light Logic Module # PP20-702 using the two yellow wires. Finally, run the green wire to the third brake light on your camper shell. Using the Logic Module will keep the third brake light from flashing when you apply your turn signals as it will filter out the signal much like an old school converter.
Since you'll be tapping into your turn signals at the back of your truck, you'll need some extra wire like part # 12-1-1 (per foot). To make the connections I recommend our Deka Heat Shrink Butt Connector (5-pack) part # DW05745-5.
