Question:
Good Morning, I am inquiring on bearings and seals for the following axle Part Number. CURT Item 2024057204. What I am looking for are Timken Bearings. However, Ramblin Man RV indicated he likes to use a Dexter Double Lipped Seal, colored. So I am interested in purchasing those as well, as long as Timken bearings can be paired with another manufacturers seal.

Hey Matthew! Thanks for providing that axle information. I reached out to Lippert and for bearings you need the Timken # TMK44FR and # TMK75FR.
From what they said, your axle came with an oil bath setup so for the seal you need the Unitized Oil Seal for Trailer Hubs # 10-63. The Dexter double lip seal you're referring to is likely designed for a grease hub application, so you wouldn't want to use it with your setup.
What kind of trailer do you have?
