Question:
I do not need the 24 inches to accommodate a spare tire. Is there a shorter hitch?

Expert Reply:
Hey Robert! The Mount-n-Lock GennyGo # MNT24ZR is the only option they have for a 2" hitch. There are RV bumper mounted versions like # MNT97ZR if you're mounting it on a trailer, but that won't help if this is for your vehicle.
The only other generator style carriers for a 2" hitch we carry are the 16x21 TorkLift Lock and Load SideKick Cargo Tray # TLA7901 and 24x27 TorkLift Lock and Load Maximum Security Cargo Tray # TLA7752.
Are you mounting this on your vehicle hitch or a hitch on your trailer? What are the dimensions of the generator? You could also use a traditional cargo carrier more like # C18110 if none of these work well for your application.
