Question:
I have a 2025 Ford F150 towing a 26 foot Rockwood mini lite trailer. I understand that with some weight distribution hitches you cant backup unless on level surfaces. I need to be able to backup a slight inclined driveway to store my trailer. Can I use this hydraulic WD hitch in my situation.

Hey Jack, welcome back! What you heard is correct, some weight distribution hitches have that limitation, or don't allow backing up at all. The B&W Continuum # BW53FR is not one of those systems. You will be able to back up your driveway with a slight incline with the system hooked up.
This particular version is designed for underslung couplers and fits 2-1/2" receivers. Make sure the coupler on your Rockwood Mini Lite looks like the picture below. I'm guessing you have a 2" receiver on your F-150 so you need # BW88FR instead. We also have the extended shank model # BW44BR which can help you get enough clearance to drop your tailgate.
If you have a different coupler let me know or you can email a picture over if you aren't sure. Where are you headed with the Mini Lite once you get the Continuum set up?
