Best Water Pump Upgrade For Grand Design Momentum 397TH

Question:

Good evening, the water pressure in the KOA we are at can only get to around 30 psi with adjustable pressure regulator as High as it will go. Was wanting to just use our water pump, however I am concerned of failure due to the age and way it is acting. I am considering this water pump. What would you recommendation be for our 2021 Grand Design Momentum 397Th? Does it come with rubber feet or spacers? Do you offer a military discount? Thanks Michael

Hey Michael, thanks for reaching out. That Seaflo # SE24FR is a solid choice for your Momentum 397TH and would be a nice upgrade from an older pump that’s starting to act up. It’s going to give you more consistent pressure than what you’re seeing at the park, and it’ll keep things steady whether you’re on city water or running off the tank. It does come with rubber mounting feet, which help cut down on vibration and noise, but if you really want it quiet, adding a short section of flexible hose on the inlet and outlet lines makes a big difference too.

With that KOA pressure being low, running off your onboard pump like you’re thinking is actually a great workaround, a lot of people prefer it for consistent flow.
