Question:
What is the voltage and amps? We are wondering about the draw we have a van and want to run this off shore power but be able to use a power station if we are off grid

Thanks for reaching out Brad, this fridge will work great on shore power.
The Hotpoint Mini Refrigerator w/ Freezer # GE43FR runs on standard 120V AC power and draws about 1.1 amps. That works out to roughly 130 watts while the compressor is running.
Since it’s a compressor-style refrigerator, it won’t draw power continuously at 1.1 amps all day. The compressor will cycle on and off depending on temperature or how often the door is opened.
For off-grid use, you can run it from a portable power station as long as the power station has a 120V AC outlet/inverter and enough surge capacity to start the compressor.
How long are you typically off-grid without shore power when you’re camping?
