Question:
I have several vehicles with these set locks, and I bought a handful of these locks from you guys, but I just realized that they dont come with the E-clips. Do you have the part number for the E-clip? If so, or do you guys sell it? And if so, how can I place the order?

Hi Luis, you’re exactly right to question that, and I appreciate you sticking with me on it. These BOLT lock cylinders like the BLT79FR do not use an E-clip, they are designed to be secured with a threaded retaining nut.
The correct replacement is the Retaining Nut for BOLT Tool Box Latch Lock Cylinder, part # BL4306752, which threads onto the back of the cylinder and secures it in place.
Once installed, you’ll just insert your vehicle key fully into the cylinder and it will code itself to match, so you still get that one-key convenience across all your locks without any extra steps.
Sounds like you’ve got these on quite a few vehicles, is this for a business or just a growing personal setup?

I am referring to the E-clip at the back of the lock, not the master cylinder nut. That E-clip is what retains the arm or latch linkage on the back side of the lock.
