That's right, folks, you're gonna need a retaining nut when changing out any lock cylinder in your BOLT technology tool box latch, and the nut will secure the cylinder into place inside the toolbox. So this nut is threaded. It is made of a nice stainless steel construction. You can see the threads down in there.
