How to Measure Jack Foot Size for SnapPad Fit on a Tiffin Allegro RED

Updated 05/08/2026 | Published 05/03/2026

Question:

Hi, I have a 2019 Tiffin Allegro RED. I’m interested in the Lippert Jack Pads. I’m not sure which one I need. I’m thinking the 12 inch, but the group of four has 2 12 inch and 2 9 inch. Do you have just the 12 inch a group of 4v. Or is the 9 inch the preferred? We stay on-grid most of the time on level services. Thank you, Bob

Hi Bob, great question and you’re absolutely thinking about this the right way. For your 2019 Tiffin Allegro RED, it’s very common to use a mixed set like the SnapPad kit you mentioned with two 9 inch pads and two 12 inch pads, because many Lippert leveling systems are built with smaller front jack feet and larger rear ones. That setup isn’t a compromise at all, it’s intentional so each pad matches the exact foot size and weight distribution, which helps everything sit solid and prevents issues like wobble or pads not seating correctly.

We do offer a full set of four 12 inch pads with part # SP74FR4, but before going that route you’ll want to confirm that all four of your jack feet are actually 12 inches in diameter otherwise the jack pads will not fit well. The easiest way to confirm is to measure the metal jack foot itself. Just take a tape measure and go straight across the round foot from edge to edge to get the diameter. You’ll want to measure each jack just to be sure. Once we know those measurements, I can make sure you get the exact set that fits snug and stays put without any risk of popping off.

Where do you usually park most of the time, on concrete, asphalt, gravel, or at home on your driveway?

Make sure the bottom of the shoes are flat, not curved. If they're curved, they will not snap on

@DanN Hi Dan, you are correct. SnapPads are designed to snap onto flat bottom jack feet, so if the bottom of the foot is curved or domed, they won’t seat properly and can either not install at all or not stay secure over time. Most Lippert leveling systems, especially on coaches like the Allegro RED (what bob has), do use flat jack feet, so in most cases SnapPads work really well. I really appreciate you jumping in, I forgot to add that!
