SnapPads install quickly and easily, and never need to be removed. Install each pad one at a time. Begin by placing the pad beneath your jack, ensuring that the pad and foot are properly aligned.

    SnapPad jack pad installation

Lower the jack until the lip of the pad fully engages around its foot and locks into place. You'll hear a snapping sound once the pad is securely installed. Repeat this process for the remaining pads. Installation is permanent, so once you have the SnapPads secured, you'll never have to worry about crawling under your RV to place pads again.

Video Transcript for SnapPad Jack Stand Pads Installation - 2018 American Coach American Dream Motorhome

Shane: Hey everyone, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today I have a 2018 American Coach American Dream motorhome, and I want to walk through how to install the SnapPad Jack Stand Pads. With a motorhome or camper, we like to go camping to different places. We like to travel. Camping at different spots means the ground could be a little bit different. Maybe it could be a little bit softer in some places. Well, when we go to level out our trailer, if one of those jacks pushes down on the ground, that means our camper's not going to be level.

Adding a SnapPad onto your jacks is going to make leveling out your camper a lot easier because we're not going to have to worry about the foot sinking in the ground. It's going to give us a much bigger footprint to make sure that we have a solid foundation. These are going to come in a variety of different sizes, anywhere from 7-inch up to 12-inch. Here, we have the 8-inch, 9-inch, 10-inch, 11.5. There's also a 7-inch and a 12-inch. What you're going to need to do is determine what kind of foot pad you have on your jack.

There's four different kinds. You have round, you have square, you have octagon, and you have concave round. These are going to be for your round. This type is going to be for your concave round or your octagon. Then of course your 11.5 and your 12 are going to be for rounds. Now the reason this one is for your concave round or your octagon...

You'll notice that the sides are a little bit deeper than the rest of them. The reason that is, is because on the foot pad, on the octagon and concave round, the sides kind of roll up a little bit taller. And we want those sides to be able to come down and grab on this bottom lip. Each one of our pads are going to be a durable rubber construction. So no matter what terrain we're on, whether it's rocky or asphalt, we can rest assured that once we have our jacks down, they're going to stay in place. So with adding these onto your factory foot plate, we kind of put this in perspective.

Your factory foot plate, let's say it's nine inches, which is what this pad is here. 9-inch foot plate is a metal plate. When we add this, we're actually making it 11 inches. So we're going from nine inches to 11 inches which is going to give us a much better footprint, a much more solid foundation. Not only can you buy these as a kit, but you can also buy these as separate pads. You can find each one here at etrailer.com.Now to measure your pad or to measure your foot, you need to determine what you have. This one's a round one. Then what you do is we need to measure across it from one side to the other. That's going to tell us what size foot pad we need. If you have octagon, you're just going to go from one flat side to the other flat side, straight across. very simple to measure. Once you measure, find the correct foot pad, and you're ready to go.My overall thoughts on these, I think these are a great idea. I think when you compare them to some of the other types of pads or some of the other types of things that people have used, like Mowards, 00:03:13 for instance, or maybe a pad that you just slide underneath there. You know, when we go to take off and maybe we're in a rush, and you're going to be thinking all the way home whether you forgot the pad or not. If you forgot it, you're out of luck. Now you got to find something else. We've gotten a lot of reviews from different people who have got these and said that "this was the best thing" they've "ever bought for their RV or camper" and they "should have done it a long time ago."As far as the installation on. Installation is very simple. I do say, have two people. Once you get the pad slid into place or in the area of the jack, back out, but whoever it is, drop that jack down close to the path. If you have to make an adjustment, have him stop, slide the pad over and then get out from underneath the RV. Once they drop the jack down all the way, it's going to pop right into place. That doesn't mean once they're on, they have to stay on. If you have to replace them, they can come off. Take a couple of screwdrivers, you're just going to wedge it around the plate, slide it around the side until you get half of it off and then it'll just slide it off and you can pop the new one on.Now that we've gone over some of the features, let's walk through how to get them installed. To start your installation, the first thing you want to do is you want to make sure you have a second person. Two, you're going to need some soapy water. What we're going to do is we're going to spray the whole inside of this pad on the foot and along this edge as much as we can. Then what we're going to do is we're going to spray the bottom of the actual foot on the camper. We're going to take this and slide it underneath the foot pad on a camper or RV. We're going to get those lined up as close as possible. We're going to get out from underneath the trailer. Have somebody slowly lower the jack until it gets close. Have him stop, make any adjustment necessary, and just have him put the jack down. And this pad is actually just going to pop right on top of the foot, or right on top of the jack foot itself.Once they start lowering the jacks, you want to make sure you're not underneath of it. Hold up. Make our adjustment. Once you get it straight, we'll have him bring it down all the way down and it pops into place. You're good. You can raise it up. Once you get one on, you're going to repeat the same process for any remaining jack you're putting a foot on. After you've installed a pad on each one of your jacks, you're ready to go.That's going to do it for look at and installation on the SnapPad Jack Stand Pads on a 2018 American Coach American Dream motorhome..

Have had no regret. Great addition. Also help with stability when I have to add extra leveling blocks underneath.

Have had these a year and love them. Very stable and prevents cupping on my metal pads. I did upgrade my metal pads from 9 in to 12in so with the jack pads I have 14 in surface that works great! One of the best add on's I put on the RV.

Installed these and replaced all 4 foot pads at the same time. I had read elsewhere about using Flexseal to coat the foot pads to prevent rust. Rather than using dish soap as lubricant to install the SnapPads I sprayed the bottom of the foot pad with Flex Seal and then the rim of the SnapPads. This provided an excellent lubricant, SnapPads slid into place easily and now they should be slight more secured.

I installed these SnapPads this past July on my Entegra Cornerstone. They were easy to install with the help of a friend. I'm very happy with the extra square inches that are on the ground to support our coaches heavy weight. Not all parks have concrete or asphalt which makes these extra nice. I highly recommend them.

    by:

I really like them. I put them on as stated in the directions and we went on a trip. The pads on the front of our Entegra Aspire Class A remain installed today and work great. The pads on the back are no where to be found and did not complete the first trip. I can only assume that the pads struck something underneath and lost.

Review from a similar Jack Pads in RV Jack Pads

‘Purchased a set of 4 to use on our 2019 AS, a 25’ International Serenity model, which has 5 1/2” square stabilizer feet.
‘Some hesitancy placing the order as most reviews appeared to have vehicles with round stabilizers.
Manufacturer & delivery took months but was worth the wait: these are thick, heavy-duty, compressed rubber ( think rubber stall mat for race horses) and a nice, tight fit.
The fit was tight enough that mounting required me to remove the foot from its arm and use a channel lock wrench to torque the snap pad edge enough for the foot plate to fit into the product groove. Once in, it appeared to be snug enough to stay there for the long haul.
Re-attaching foot & pad to the stabilizer arm required another edge torque ( minimal pressure) to get the long attaching bolt to slide into its housing holes.
….long winded review for a simple Excellent rating of this product.
I wasn’t disappointed with this purchase

Review from a similar Jack Pads in RV Jack Pads

I am quite impressed with these jack pads. Look great on my Solitude. Fairly easy to install. It pops in if the Jack plate is close to center. They stayed on our last 1900 mile trip. I appreciate the extra grip using block for stabilization.

Review from a similar Jack Pads in RV Jack Pads

Perfect fit for my new adjustable length front jack foot. Installation was easy - I used the stacked levelers in the picture to help guide the pad onto the foot by sliding support where needed to insure a good "snap" on all edges.

Goodbye wood blocks - with the larger diameter front jack foot and snappads on all things that touch the ground (also installed snappads on my stabilizer feet) my asphalt driveway will be happy!

Review from a similar Jack Pads in RV Jack Pads

I finally found time to install my snap pads on my RV and it was so simple I only lost two fingers installing them. Lucky for me it was one finger from each hand. Happy Halloween!
My wife assisted me during the install and it was a snap. I’ll be testing them in the field at Sone Mountain in December. I have great confidence that they will be just fine. They are very solid. We were at the Suwannee
Music Park on a sand lot and it was difficult to level the RV. One of the actuators would sink while the opposite tried to compensate and failed giving a fault light. We had to put “stuff” under the actuator to eventually get the system to level and hold. You off roaders should be very interested in this product. Thanks again etrailer for being here once again. Talk with you soon.

    Comments
Well, I lost one at the front left position and don’t have a clue as to what happened to it. Maybe an alligator laying in the road got it. I can’t say I felt or saw it happen. I have been using a piece of wood in the interim. The other three have been performing great and are a must for soft surfaces and protecting the actuator foot in any setting. Setting, get it? Maybe I can work a deal on a replacement. ?

Review from a similar Jack Pads in RV Jack Pads

The SnapPads are a great addition to my motorhome. I wish they were on earlier! They were a little difficult to put on. Also, they arrived in an etrailer box and I called SnapPad to verify they were legitimate. Finally, due to supply issues they took 3 weeks to arrive. I would have given 5 stars.

I traded the motorhome in. I hope the new owner enjoys them.

Review from a similar Jack Pads in RV Jack Pads

These pads are the best addition to standard metal jack feet. The perfect and reliable non-slip on concrete and greater stability on all types of gravel/rock base. Also greatly enhances slip resistance & weight distribution if large plastic pads are used on very soft ground. After over 18K miles on our 35ft 5'er this year, they appear pretty well indestructible.

    Comments
These pads are great and have held up well in over 30K miles since I bought them. Pretty well indestructible and provide a much better, more stable leveling platform on pretty well any surface. Couldn't be more pleased with these pads.

Review from a similar Jack Pads in RV Jack Pads

I was pleased with how well the Snapads fit and how securely they mounted on my stabilizer pads.
Unfortunately I could no longer use my magnetic Jack blocks with them on my front pads.

    Comments
I am still very satisfied with the SnapPads after 1 year. I see they will make pads that are compatible with the Anderson magnetic bucket style supports I use on my front jacks. I plan to get those as soon as they’re available

Review from a similar Jack Pads in RV Jack Pads

We recently installed Snap Pads on our Bay Star; following the installation instructions all went as planned and it was a straight forward process. During installation I was impressed with the sturdiness of the pads. When pressing each pad during the installation, the surface of the pad held the weight of the coach for a minute or so until the pressure was right and the pads snapped around the leveler feet.

The manufacturer and etrailer both proactively provided information on what was needed, how to, and what to expect.

    Comments
We have used Snap Pads for a year now. No issues, reliable, almost forget about them as they work in varying conditions. I especially like them on ground that is a little wet or gravel.
