Hey Tim, the shank of the etrailer Ball Mount w/ Pre-Torqued 2" Ball # e87DR that you referenced is hollow. Were you planning on using an anti-rattle hitch lock with this?

The etrailer hitch with the 2" pre tourqed ball works for me and is well made. The problem I'm having is finding an anti rattle hitch that works as described by the manufacturer. I have a class five hitch on my ram 2500 that uses a sleeve to accommodate the 2" shank, there's no room for the the anti rattle hitch to grab onto and tighten. I've tried two already and neither work. Other than that I recommend the etrailer hitch

@Gary we actually have a specific anti rattle device that was designed for setups that use a 2-1/2 inch to 2 inch hitch sleeve adapter like what you have with the Blue Ox part # BX888312.
