Can Shank of Rapid Hitch Work with Andersen Weight Distribution System

Question:

Can I use an Andersen aluminum rapid hitch with this Andersen weight distribution hitch? I dont need the flexibility of the rapid hitch but Im looking for a very light weight solution. RV GVW 3500. My current hitch not Andersen is way too heavy for me to attach to my jeep, I get help to install each spring, but I would prefer to not leave my large hitch attached to my jeep all season. Im looking for a system I can manage for years to come Im a 58 year old woman. Thanks

Hey Julie, the shank designs between the Andersen Rapid Hitch and their weight distribution systems like the part # AN88VR are different enough that the two cannot be used together. That said as far as weight distribution systems go the part # AN88VR is for sure one of the lighter systems. Total weight of this is 60 lbs.
