We have a 2026 Thor Compass 24jg. We want to replace the jack knife sofa. The area is 55 1/2 wide and the distance from the wall to the cabinets is 65 The couch is not on a slide. Would this work in the RV? P/N: TP68KR

Hey, Chris. Thanks for your question.

The Thomas Payne Dual Reclining RV Loveseat # TP68KR will fit your space, but it’s going to be pretty tight when fully reclined.

When the footrests are all the way out, the loveseat extends about 64" from the wall. Since you have 65" of depth to work with, that only leaves about 1" of clearance between the footrest and your cabinets.

If you’re okay with that tighter fit, it should work just fine. I did take a look at other reclining options as well, and they all fall right around that same 64" extended length, so there isn’t really a shorter alternative in that style.

Are you looking at upgrading to a more relaxed/comfy space with the recliners?

@ChrisG A 22" door would be pretty hard. Ideally you want a 26" wide door to get this into your camper, you can get a way with 24-25 but a 22" could be really difficult.

Hey Russ, the Thomas Payne Dual Reclining RV Loveseat #TP68KR that you referenced requires 2 inches of wall clearance so that it can recline all the way.
