What Is The Overall Width Of The Lippert Eddie Bauer Dutchmen Reclining RV Loveseat EB44FR?

Question:

I am interested in the Lippert Eddie Bauer Dutchmen Reclining RV Loveseat Part Number EB44FR. The specifications list the loveseat as 54 inches wide My RV has an available width of approximately 54–55 inches, so I would like to verify a few measurements before ordering. Could you please confirm: Is 54 inches the maximum overall width at the widest point of the loveseat? Does any part of the recliner mechanism, footrests, frame, hardware, or trim extend beyond the published 54-inch width? Are the published dimensions actual measurements or rounded dimensions? What clearance, if any, do you recommend on each side for installation? What is the overall width at floor level? I want to ensure the loveseat will fit properly within my available space before placing an order.

Hey Lisa, thanks for reaching out. The published 54" width for the Lippert Eddie Bauer Dutchmen Reclining RV Loveseat # EB44FR is the overall maximum width of the loveseat. We don't have any measurements showing the recliner hardware, footrests, or frame extending beyond that dimension, so you can use the 54" as the overall outside width.

That said, I would recommend leaving at least 1/2" of clearance on each side if possible. That gives you a little room to maneuver the loveseat into place and helps ensure the recliners can operate without rubbing against nearby walls or cabinets. So, if your opening is truly 55" wide, it will fit in that space. If your opening is only 54" it will still fit but it may be harder to push it into place, and the armrests will be rubbing against the wall.
