What is Height of MOS UpLift Roof Rack Lift Assist # MR39ZV Above Crossbars

Question:

what is the height of the mechanism? i need to determine if the lift mechanism on top of the volvo ex30 roof cross bars will clear the normal residential WA height garage door...

Hey Ajay, the overall height of the MOS UpLift Roof Rack Lift Assist # MR39ZV that you referenced is 24 inches above the crossbars the rack is mounted to. How much room do you have to work with before hitting the garage?

thank you jameson. we only have 7" from the top of the roof racks to the edge of the garage door opening....so we will have to put it on and take it off outside the garage per each use. depending on how easy it is to do that, it may cause me to rethink a spontaneous decision to go kayaking :( i kinda guessed this may not work for me when i saw you had 'commercial height' garage doors in your video. sincerely ajay

@Ajay our videos have garages tall enough to fit RVs since we install on them as well. We have folding kayak racks like the Thule Hullaport XTR part # TH34FR39AB which would fit under your garage door.
