MOS Uplift Assisted Kayak Carrier Recommendation for 2026 Ford Expedition with Factory Rack

Considering the MOS UpLift Kayak Roof Rack and Lift Assist. I have a 2026 Ford Expedition with factory Roof Rails Like the low profile and that they mount inside rails. I have a Hobie Compass Kayak at 68 lbs. I think the MOS UpLift will work since it does not require the rack to extend out.

Hey Michael, welcome back! Yeah the MOS UpLift Roof Rack Lift Assist # MR39ZV will work great for you as it has does fit factory crossbars like what you have on your 2026 Ford Expedition and it has a 125 lb capacity so your Hobie Compass would work great on it. How this works is this basically lowers a set of crossbars down that a kayak carrier would be attached to make it easier to load and unload.
Then for a kayak carrier to attach to this the etrailer part # e98878 is a great choice that will work great. This has a 150 lb weight capacity. Where do you usually take your kayak out?
