Will the Thule 815 Kayak Cradle be able to mount on the MOS Racks - MOS UpLift Roof Rack Lift Assist - Clamp On - Part Number: MR39ZV?

Hey Tom, welcome back! The Thule Hull-A-Port # TH834 (815 at some retailers) is compatible with the MOS UpLift Roof Rack Lift Assist # MR39ZV. We also have a version with straps and tie-downs # MR89ZV which would allow you to use it without the extra kayak carrier.

Hi Robin, Thanks for the reply. What my specific situation is that I have a 2026 Ford F-350 Crew Cab that I pull a fifth wheel with. We also have 9 foot kayaks that we take camping with us. When pulling the fifth wheel with the kayaks loaded on the cab rood, that kayaks have to be positions forward so the back end of the kayak does not extend into the bed of the truck so not to hit the fifth wheel cap during turns. So I'm trying to figure out if the kayaks can be positions forward this way on the MOS UpLift Roof Rack Lift Assist # MR39ZV. Thanks for your help. Tom

@TomH if you're able to do that with your existing kayak carriers on your roof rack you should be able to do it with the # MR39ZV since it acts like crossbars but with the lift assist.
