Which MORryde Goosetec Fits Alliance Avenue ML23

Published 04/13/2026

Question:

For a 5th wheel Alliance Avenue ML23 with GVWR of 10500 lbs is there a MorRyde Goose Tech hitch option? Also is the Pullrite OEX line another Goose Neck option? Finally which hitch is ideal to achieve 90 degree back up with a standard 6 foot truck bed? Thanks

Hey George, I looked up your Alliance Avenue ML23 and what I found was that it uses the Lippert Rhino Box so based on that and the GVWR you have the correct MORryde Goosetch would be the part # MR64MV.

If you were wanting to stick with a fifth wheel hitch setup the Pullrite SuperGlide part # PUL83RR would be a great option. It would slide far enough to allow you to make a 90 degree turn with your 2026 GMC Sierra 2500. On the newer GM trucks they actually moved the rail kits a little further back on the short bed trucks to help with turning clearance so you'll be good for sure. Are you leaning towards the fifth wheel or gooseneck adapter route?

Wow thanks for quick detailed reply! Seasoned rv guy to other rigs except 5th wheel. So trying to gather info and experience from others to decide which hitch would be best for me? Especially getting hitch in/out but while getting best comfort/safe towing experience.

@GeorgeM Glad to help! If you can swing the gooseneck adapter route I'd highly recommend that as it's just a lot easier to deal with than a heavy fifth wheel hitch. Especially an auto slider. I pulled up a picture of the Alliance Avenue ML23 and it has a tapered nose so I believe you'd be fine with the gooseneck adapter.
