Question:
I have 8 lug Lippart axles. Tag on the axle says it’s a 7000 axle. Item V000543690 is also printed on the tag. I would like to replace the brakes - and need the correct part number. Want the whole assembly to just bolt on. Thanks

Hi Allen!
The etrailer Electric Trailer Brakes - Self-Adjusting - 12" - Left/Right Hand - 5.2K to 7K # AKEBRK-7-SA is what you are looking for and will replace the right and left brakes on one axle. 7,000 pound axles use a standard 5 bolt pattern, and Lippert also follows that standard. The only thing you want want to double check is if your trailer has anti lock brakes.
They unveiled that in 2022, but it isn't super common yet. I was unable to find any info with the V000543690 number, but the manufacturer of your trailer should be able to tell you if you have that option or not. If not, the etrailer brakes will work perfectly for you. If you do have that option, you will need the following brakes:
Electric Trailer Brake Assembly for Lippert ABS Hubs - 12" - Left/Right Hand - 5.2K - 7K # LC83PX
I also included a picture that shows where the ABS sensor would install, so you can also just crawl under your camper to look and see if there is anything there. It will be pretty obvious.
On That note, what kind of trailer/camper do you have?

My axle as stated is a. 8 lug. This part only shows fitting 7k 5 lug. Says nothing about fitting an 8 lug 7 k axles.
