Ready for the road, this pre-mounted tire and wheel combo handles your gear with confidence and tracks straight on long hauls. Durable powder-coated wheel resists rust, and the low-profile tire design helps boost fuel efficiency.
This combo comes mounted and ready to install, so you can skip the extra steps. Whether you are replacing a worn setup or getting a trailer ready to go, it saves time and gets you back on the road faster.
When you are hauling equipment, larger enclosed trailers, or heavier loads, this setup is built to handle it. The Load Range E rating supports up to 3,520 lbs per tire, giving you the capacity needed for more demanding jobs.
This bolt pattern is commonly used on larger and heavier trailers. It lines up with heavy-duty hubs, making it a reliable choice when replacing or upgrading your setup.
The KR53 radial tire is designed to track straight and stay stable at highway speeds. It helps reduce sway and uneven wear, especially on longer trips where consistency matters.
If you want something beyond a basic steel wheel, this adds just enough detail. The black finish with red stripes gives your trailer a more dialed-in look without going over the top.
The 16 inch diameter and 6 inch width give you the size and support needed for larger trailers. It is a practical match when your setup is carrying more weight and covering more miles.
If the tire fails under normal use in the first year, Kenda will replace it. That's confidence you can count on, whether you're heading to the jobsite or the campsite.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Kenda Karrier KR53 ST 235/80R16 load range E radial trailer tire mounted on this 16-inch black mod wheel. Now this trailer tire and wheel combo is going to be a solid heavy duty option designed for larger trailers that need dependable highway performance and strong load support. This comes ready to install because it's already mounted on this wheel, which is going to save time and make replacement or upgrades much easier. So this setup includes, as I mentioned, this tire that's an ST 235/80R16.
This is a radial trailer tire. This is designed for trailer use only and not for vehicles. It will come mounted on this 16-inch black modular steel wheel and by modular, as I'm sure you know, we're talking about the design here and it does feature this double red pinstripe that goes around the inside perimeter of the wheel. So it's got a classic look but yet modern, so it's going to look great on your trailer. The diameter measuring beat seat to beat seat, as I mentioned a few times already is 16 inches.
However, the width of the wheel, again measuring beat seat to beat seat is going to be six inches. So that's going to give you the proper support for your heavier trailer applications. Going back to the tire here, this is a load range E tire, meaning it has a 10 ply rating and it's built to handle demanding towing conditions. It's rated to carry up to 3,520 pounds at 85 PSI. Now the KR53 design is going to help track straight and stay stable when you're at those highway speeds.
This helps reduce sway and uneven wear, especially on those longer trips where consistency matters. This wheel uses a very common eight on six and a half-inch bolt pattern, which is going to fit many heavy duty trailer hubs. If you need help measuring your current bolt pattern to make sure this is going to work for you, take a look at this product page and scroll a little bit lower on the page. We actually walk you through step by step on how you can measure your bolt pattern if you are unfamiliar with that. This is designed for half-inch by 20 wheel bolts and it has a 4.90-inch pilot diameter.
The wheel itself is rated slightly higher than the tire at 3,750 pounds, but you are limited to the lowest rated component, so that will be your tire. Now if you think you might need some help with getting this installed on this product page, typically underneath the photo section we have a link that will take you to our installer locator. Click that link, answer the questions that it has for you, and that locator will find an installer in your area that etrailer has partnered with to install this for you. Well again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Great to hear everything arrived safely and was an exact match for your Big Tex setup! That’s always a relief when the fit is spot-on right out of the box, especially with trailer wheels and tires where compatibility really matters. We also appreciate you sending over the photos they’re really helpful for other customers trying to match their own setups, and it’s great seeing everything installed and fitting perfectly.

Glad we had what you were looking for, Elizabeth! The 5 on 4.75 bolt pattern is definitely starting to get more and more rare these days, so I'm glad we had an option for you! ^___^ What are you going to be carrying on your utility trailer?
