Question:
Is this compatible with the dual zone dometic thermostat in my 2012 Montana Hickory 5th wheel?

Hey Derik! The GE Appliances Low-Profile RV AC w/ Heat Pump # GE38RR will only working using the included thermostat. Your Dometic thermostat is designed for the old R410A refrigerant and all of the new AC units use R32. These operate at a different temperature and pressure so they aren't backwards compatible.
If you don't want to have to run wire to install an additional thermostat the Furrion Variable Speed Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w/ Heat Pump # FR59TQ will also work. This is operated with the included remote which also acts as the thermostat. The Chill Cube is also incredibly efficient and quiet since it uses a variable speed compressor.
Any big trips coming up with your Montana?
