Hi I am trying to find the correct baseplate for my 2007 Jeep Wrangler JKU but it has an aftermarket winch bumper made by Rugged Ridge. How can I determine the correct one. Thanks Rydell Smith

Hey Rydell, thanks for reaching out. We do offer one base plate for the 2007 Jeep Wrangler JKU with a Rugged Ridge bumper. Take a look at the following:

- Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Fixed Arms # 1437-3

This is made specifically for the Rugged Ridge bumpers having part numbers 11540-10 or 11540-11. I'm not sure exactly which model you have but you can easily measure and check fitment. The base plate brackets have holes 5-3/16" apart on center Horizontally and 2-1/2" apart vertically. It does require removal of the bumper D-rings. I've included a picture that shows an example of them installed.

Do you know the exact part number of your bumper? If not, feel free to email me a picture of the bumper and I should be able to verify fit.

Are you needing the rest of the parts for your flat tow setup?

@RydellS Hey Rydell I just replied to your email but I figured I'd post it on here too. Do those covers on either side come off? If so, there might be an attachment point for the # 1437-3 base plate underneath. You'd just need to measure the hole spacing to make sure that matches up. If those covers are not removable, I'm sorry to say there is no base plate option for that bumper. At least nothing made specifically for it. You'd have to switch back to a standard factory bumper and use the standard base plate like part # e98949.

Roadmaster makes a base plate kit that is designed specifically for the Rugged Ridge bumper like you have which is part #1437-3 which you could attach a Roadmaster tow bar like the Falcon 2 #RM-520 directly to.
