Hey James. The Ventline Vanair Trailer Roof Vent item # VP-543SP flange has a 8-5/8" diameter. It fits a 6-1/4" diameter cutout and extends 2-3/8" when closed and 3-1/4" when open above the roof.

What kind of trailer or motorhome are you looking to install this roof vent on?

The Ventline Vanair item # VP-543SP is a low profile fan that is powered off of 12v. It's going to drop right down into your cutout for a clean install with a tight seal. This is a really nice vent that has a quiet operation and only draws 1-1/2 amps during operation.

Hi James. I purchased the vents a few months back but they are still not connected. I’m waiting for an electrician to come out. Otherwise I’m very happy with them and bench tasted them before installation. I was pleased with the amount of air they moved.!
