Can the Bracket Of The Trailer Valet Jack Be Turned Sideways
Updated 03/20/2026 | Published 03/19/2026 >
Question:
I have a patriot campers ST5. It uses an unusual coupler which isnt compatible but might be with the vertical bracket. Two questions: 1. How do purchase with that vertical bracket? 2. What ist he return policy if it doesnt work with my trailer?

Hi Dan, I get why you want to be sure on this before ordering since that ST5 coupler setup is a little different.
From what I can see, your trailer will likely need a horizontal-style fit, but the Trailer Valet bracket on the Trailer Valet 5X Swivel Jack and Trailer Mover part # STC-V211 is designed as a vertical mount. That said, we have seen customers flip the bracket and use it successfully depending on their setup. I have attached a photo of that. The key is going to be checking the dimensions of the bracket against your trailer tongue to make sure it lines up and mounts securely.
As long as those measurements check out, you should be in good shape. If it doesn’t end up working, you can return it, just keep in mind there may be a restocking fee.
If you want to be extra sure, feel free to send over a quick picture or your tongue measurements and I can help you double check fitment before you order.
