We have exactly what you need Steve! To replace your 3,500 lbs axle, you'll need the Lippert Trailer Axles w/ Brakes item # LC58MP. This is a 3,500 lbs axle with electric brakes and braking hubs that have a 5 on 4-1/2 lug pattern. This axle matches your measurements perfectly, it has a 86.5" hub face and 68.5" spring center.
The Lippert Axle item # LC58MP has spring seats mounted in the underslung position, which means your axle will sit above your leaf springs. If your axle currently sits below your leaf springs, you'll need to use the Over-Under Conversion Kit item # K71-384-00. This will allow you to convert the spring seats so you can mount the replacement axle item # LC58MP below your leaf springs. We don't carry axles with the spring seats installed for an overslung setup and you can't weld on new ones to the other side because of the bend in the axle.
The Over-Under Conversion Kit item # K71-384-00 may be a part you weren't expecting having to purchase, however when you replace your axles you have to get new U-Bolts like the 3,500 lbs 5-1/2" Long U-Bolts item # APUBR-1. It is a small cost increase but it's a lot less expensive than modifying or having to customize an axle, which sounds like where you're at.
What kind of roads do you typically travel and what happened to your axle?

Thank you Jerred that is exactly what I was looking for. I travel highway mainly. No off-roading other than driving to the camp site if that counts. I hit a curb the other day and it bent in the wheel and the entire spindle.
